Customer portal settings control the workspace options available for customer-facing access. Customer access remains scoped to the customer and authorised portal workflow.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and select Customer portal.
  2. Review the available customer-facing options and access controls.
  3. Save the approved workspace configuration.
  4. Use the customer record and portal access workflow when a specific customer needs access.

Important

Do not use a portal configuration change to grant one customer access to another customer's records. Review the customer-specific portal access path for each invitation.

Configuration and access are separate

Workspace portal settings control what the customer-facing workflow can offer. To give one customer access, use that customer record and its customer-specific portal access action after confirming the right person and contact channel.

Keep customer access isolated

Never reuse an access link or code for another customer. If a customer cannot use the portal, review their active contact and the visible portal workflow rather than changing another customer record.
