Operational settings are workspace-wide configuration. Review the current value and the related workflow before changing a setting.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and select Operations.
  2. Review the setting description and current value.
  3. Change only the options your role is authorised to manage.
  4. Save, then test the related workflow using a suitable non-production record where practical.

Important

Operational settings can affect future behaviour across the workspace. They do not automatically correct historical records or resolve an existing workflow issue.

Understand the scope

Operations settings apply across the workspace and can affect future planning or workflow behaviour. Read the setting description, check its current value and consider the affected team before saving.

Validate a change safely

Use a suitable internal or non-production example where practical, then check the real workflow. Existing historical records may retain their saved values and need their own permitted update path.
