Company, branding, regional and document settings are the workspace defaults used by relevant future workflows.

What to review

  • Company details identify the business in the relevant workspace views and documents.
  • Branding controls the available customer-facing presentation settings.
  • Regional settings provide the applicable regional defaults.
  • Document settings provide the available defaults for quotes, invoices and related customer-facing records.

Important

Review a newly created quote or invoice after changing defaults. Previously saved records retain their own values unless they are explicitly updated through their normal workflow.

How defaults are applied

Defaults provide starting values for relevant future records. For example, the invoice due-date setting is applied when the invoice is created; review the invoice itself before issue or delivery because it retains its own saved due date.

Review customer-facing output

After changing company, branding, regional or document settings, create or preview an appropriate new record and check the result. Existing quotes, invoices and communications are not rewritten automatically.
