Booking status describes the lifecycle of the job, while allocation indicates whether the planned workforce requirement is covered.

Allocation indicators

  • Allocated indicates the required allocation is covered.
  • Partial indicates that only part of the planned allocation is covered.
  • Needs allocation indicates that more workforce planning is required.

What to do

Open the booking, review the schedule and assignments, then use the available crew or employee tools. Do not mark work complete to remove an allocation warning.

Booking lifecycle status

Bookings can be Pending, Pending schedule, Scheduled, In progress, Completed or Cancelled. Only a scheduled booking can be started, and only an in-progress booking can be completed through the standard controls.

Completion is a real transition

Completing a booking records completion information and evaluates related reporting, notification and billing workflows. Reopen only if the completed job genuinely needs active management again, then review any downstream record separately.
