Growth approvals keep review and publication as separate decisions.

Steps

Open Growth and select Approvals.
Review the content, channel and available context for the item.
Use the available approval or rejection action after completing your review.
Use Publish only when publication is appropriate and the item is ready.

Important

Approval records the review decision. It does not automatically publish the item.

Approval is a decision, not publication

Review the channel, content and available context before approving. Rejection records that the item is not ready and can return it to a draft or review path where the workflow permits. Publication remains a separate controlled action.
