Lead actions should reflect the outcome of qualification, not just the need to tidy the lead list.
Choose the next step
- Continue with follow-up or a site visit while the enquiry needs work.
- Use the available quote or conversion path when the customer and scope are ready for pricing.
- Set Won, Lost or Spam only when that outcome is known.
- Use a clear action only where it is available and after reviewing its effect on the lead workflow.

Convert when the commercial detail is ready
Before creating a quote, check the customer identity, property, requested scope and any visit notes. The quote remains a draft proposal until it is reviewed and sent through its own workflow.
Use clear with care
Use a clear action only when the lead workflow offers it and the effect is understood. Keep a meaningful status and note for enquiries that need to remain in history rather than removing their context.
