A site visit keeps inspection details and visit notes with the lead while the work is still being qualified.

Steps

  1. Open the lead and review the address, contact details and requested work.
  2. Use the available visit action to create the site visit.
  3. Set the timing and details required by the visit workflow, then save.
  4. Record visit notes, observations and approved photos after the visit.
  5. Use the available quote preparation path when the visit information is ready for pricing.

What happens next

The lead can move through the site-visit statuses and retain the visit context for the quote workflow.

Before the visit

Confirm the lead address, contact details, requested work and agreed visit time. A lead site visit is part of enquiry qualification; it is not the same as a scheduled customer job.

After the visit

Record the observations, scope and approved evidence while they are current. Move the lead to the appropriate next status, then prepare the quote only when the required information is ready for commercial review.
