The quote status helps show whether a proposal is still being prepared or has received a customer decision.

What the common statuses mean

  • Draft is internal preparation and can be reviewed before delivery.
  • Sent means the proposal has been delivered through the available quote workflow.
  • Accepted and Declined record the customer decision.
  • Cancelled means the quote should not continue as an active proposal.

Important

Use the recorded decision and available actions when moving to a booking or invoice. Do not treat a sent quote as accepted.

Before a decision

Check the proposal amount, tax treatment, terms, validity date and any deposit requirement before sending. A customer question or a sent email does not change the status to accepted on its own.

After acceptance

Open the accepted quote and use the available follow-on action for booking or invoicing. Check whether any deposit workflow must be completed before you schedule or start the related work.
