The Quote Assistant walks you through the inputs for a quote and suggests line items you can review before creating a draft.

Before you begin

You need permission to create quotes. Choose the customer and, where relevant, the property the work is for.

Build the draft

  1. Open Quote Assistant and complete Customer and Property.
  2. In Job Details and Cost Inputs, choose the job type and enter labour hours, crew size, machinery, material and waste or tip allowances.
  3. Select Generate Suggested Items, then review the Suggested Line Items.
  4. Check Pricing Review, then select Create Draft Quote.

How prices are suggested

Items are matched to your Price Book first. Anything that cannot be matched is flagged for manual price review, so check every line before you send.

What happens next

The draft opens as a normal quote. Edit it as needed, then send it to the customer.
