Understand invoice due dates

The invoice due date is the date used to identify invoices that need collection attention.

How due dates work

  1. Set the due date while creating or editing the invoice.
  2. Review the invoice in the Invoices workspace.
  3. Use the invoice status overview to identify unpaid invoices that are overdue or due soon.

Tips

  • Review the due date before issuing or sending the invoice.
  • Update the invoice when the agreed payment timing changes, then communicate the change through your normal customer workflow.
